Investment Manager | Private Equity

Our client is a French fund investor with a long-standing track record in Private Equity and Private Markets, supported by a top-tier international investment team based in Paris. The mandate focuses on building and managing a diversified portfolio of global private markets investments, especially private equity fund investments.

Profile

  • 1–7 years of relevant experience in illiquid fund selection, ideally with a focus on Private Equity. Prior experience in investment banking or strategy consulting is also possible.
  • Academic background in finance, economics, engineering, or natural sciences from a top-tier institution.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; capable of independently managing fund selection and due diligence processes.
  • Fluent in German and English; international experience or French language skills are an advantage.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and motivation to contribute to the growth of a new investment platform.

Tasks

  • Select, analyse, and perform due diligence on global Private Equity fund investments, identifying top-tier managers across key markets such as the EMEA, North America, and Asia.
  • Contribute to shaping the Private Markets portfolio strategy, including commitment pacing and diversification across Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate, and Venture Capital.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with international fund managers and advisors to ensure access to best-in-class opportunities.
  • Support investment committee preparation, reporting, and the development of risk and allocation frameworks.
