THRONSBERG Visits Beckmann at the Städel
Some lunch breaks simply pass by.
Others stay with you.
Together with THRONSBERG | Private Capital Recruitment, we enjoyed a compact yet intellectually stimulating guided tour of the current Max Beckmann exhibition at the Städel Museum.
An hour of conscious reflection. Max Beckmann's art is not meant to please. His works are powerful, filled with tension, and deeply infused with the societal upheavals of his time. The Städel makes these connections impressively visible, opening up fresh perspectives on identity, values, and responsibility. It is material that truly resonates.
Last year, we already had the pleasure of experiencing a similar guided tour of the Städel collection with THRONSBERG. These formats are more than mere museum visits. They are catalysts for great conversations and a matter close to the hearts of Constantin Theodor Trapp and myself.
And the journey continues: in April, we are planning our next joint tour, this time focusing on the upcoming Monet exhibition. Moving from the expressive gravitas of Beckmann to the shimmering light of Monet—I am already looking forward to the contrast.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who transformed their lunch break into a source of inspiration.
